I have converted one of my videos into 3D, but in Firefox i can't see in 3D with my Nvidia 3D Vision set of glasses and monitor... maybe the conversion doesn't works with HTML5 3D viewer?

You know what would be nice? Having more than a tiny fraction of the 3D content you already HAVE on youtube actually available via "HTML5 3D" and thus actually USABLE with my 3D Vision kit.

Great. Is is me or has the 3D lower color quality than 2D?

This feature is not working for me on all most HD videos that I've tried. And when I tried to add it to my own video, it repeats the same clip over and over with lots of artifacting.

It's great to see this kind of 3D development. Will the Google X lab develop a single pair of glasses for AR, VR and 3D viewing?
Project Glass would succeed if they are multipurpose and prevent us having to buy different specs for each application. The WIZDISH channel and website explains more.

Still today, the feature is not available on every video I've tried, aside from personal videos I've added or the demo video above.

It's a decent attempt at 2D to 3D conversion. Most automatic conversions I've seen were terrible, the youtube attempt is better although I wouldn't call it "good" either. But I have to admit I am very sensitive to stereo errors I often notice them in many true stereo 3D movies made by professionals.

I also noticed that the current algorithm doesn't use the space in front of the screen at all, the picture is in depth only. I know how difficult it is to use this space, so I won't complain about it, but that could be a nice goal for future improvements : being able to make the conversion algorithm able to use effectively the out-of-screen space without inducing headaches would be a nice achievement.

There's an other possible improvement I can think of : the current side-by-side display mode with full ratio has a bug.
My display is a dual-projectors setup, I span my desktop over two displays (3840x1080 desktop with AMD Eyefinity), in order to display the 3D picture I need to span the picture side by side at full 16:9 ratio per eye, so that the left eye view fills up the left half of the desktop and the right eye view fills up the right half of the desktop (1920x1080 per desktop).
The side by side mode at full ratio should work, and it did work when using the old 3D-test page (the diet-coke rocket-car video), but when using this same mode on actual video pages the picture only stretches half-way, adding black bars around the video.
It would be nice if you would fix this full-screening issue.

Does it really work ? Is there a specific property the movie should have because one old movie showed 3d but something uploaded today did not, also I saw a 720p do it but most of 1080p's don't.

"Video is not available in your country"... what about an Auto-Mute function for Youtube to get rid of music copyrights and just see the video...

A week later and I still see no signs of the feature working on any of the 1080p videos I've selected. Could you provide an update as to when we can expect this service to work on 1080p uploaded videos?

I agree that HTML5 is too far than flash and also flash is very powerful than HTML5. Below are the few points which I have noticed
    1) Video compatibility (youtube html5 player need different format of video for different browsers, which directly impact on storage and bandwidth)
    2) Styling (need separate CSS for different browsers)
    3) Multiple audio support at one time and simulations
    4) Code is not secure
    And many more…

But as per my analysis and Adobe Flash acceptance for HTML 5. Seems that after few years HTML 5 will be closer competitor.

I have tried turning my videos into 3d on a Mac and a new PC. I click on 3d in the edit menu and click "save" but nothing--not even after a day later! I have heard of 3dvideolive. Maybe we should go there, instead, if youtubedoesn't care enbough to be sure it works. BTW I like in KC in the US, so it should work.

Ho convertito un video 1080i in 3d ed il risultato è un video con diverse parti che a intermittenza risultano sovraesposte. Qualcuno sa dirmi perchè? Grazie
