This fact I know I am standing for as long I exist here in the reality. Ok

    Hello to all.
My own web site is always all-free for all to see informing
about some of my life, and also how I got to know about this
honest fact about the reality that we all are part of. OK

All is and all will always be all-free for all to see in my web-site at:
    http://www.dennisinthereality.nu/

Good luck to all living correct for all of life.

I wish I could sell MP’3 dowload’s of my songs on Youtube! I have a song on itunes already but what if with youtube, I could sell directly to consumers. Many artists get millions of views on youtube and have links to itunes. Itunes usually takes 20 percent of each sale. I think youtube could generate cash in the same way with mp’3s. Just a thought : )

Can you walk us through the process when a musician uploads a video of him/herself performing someone else's song? Most musicians who cover songs don't obtain permission to do so. Many don't know how to contact the songwriter and/or publisher. And even if they do, they either can't obtain a quote for a sync license or it's too expensive for them. So they upload the video anyway and hope that it doesn't get flagged. And in most cases it isn't.

Even extremely popular artists, like Pomplamoose, perform songs they haven't written. They have mentioned getting a mechanical license to record the song, but they haven't said whether they have obtained sync licenses for their videos.

So does your new arrangement with the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) and its subsidiary Harry Fox Agency (HFA) help to clarify this, or are you still dealing with just mechanical licenses and not synchronization licenses?

Good thing the money's going to the publishing agencies instead of directly to the artists. Otherwise, there might be "hell" to pay, if you know what I mean.

    Oh wait.

Yes, YouTube this is great news, but you failed to mention owner of the master recording. If I performed a cover that is legally licensed, where do I fit in the scheme? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, there are two licenses required for film or video, a sync license and master use license. So, does this revenue stream exclude the owner of the master recording such as myself?

Social networking like you tube is a work group and doing well in publishing music.Every artist or band needs a YouTube channel. Upload all of your footage there. Get someone to take a video camera and record every single gig.
people the world over will be interested and it will help to build the brand.

Yes, that's good news YouTube, but are you still going on with the blocking rampage?
Even with this policy, I can still see recording companies asking YT to block music videos every day, and since this applies to lesser known musicians, this is a HUGE threat to their career. If their videos are blocked, this will give them less attention to the public, and thus, less money.

In his case deterrence is simply pointless. Incapacitation, by locking him up away from the public obviously offers a short term solution, but it is an expensive and inhumane way to deal with a wreck of a man.
