I received the email that you would be removing Google Videos soon, and I'm glad to hear that you are going to give us a bit longer to migrate. Right now I do not see the Upload Videos to YouTube button. Is it being rolled out slowly only to certain users? I have a YouTube account connected to my Google account. Thank you for any further information...

Dear Youtube, I wanna post here since there is no way to contact Google Video witch which I have a problem. I have a difficulty downloading a video and it is my only copy, so it would be really nice if someone could help me get to my video before everything is deleted. Thank you!

Do all stats carry over to Youtube, including upload date?

I would like to know what happens if you have since uploaded the same video to YouTube with the very same title?

I don't want an old inferior duplicate version on YouTube - but can no longer access my Google Video Account......

Google videos didn't have the 15min video length restriction that Youtube has, how can we migrate those long videos currently on Google video over to Youtube?

Thanks for doing this, although I wonder this wasn't done in the first place.

Here's an additional peeve ... when I did the transfer, the upload date is today (when it was transferred) rather than the original (Google video) upload date. Since my videos are mostly chronologically arranged vignettes of my children growing up, I'd appreciate it if you could have the original upload date.

The Star Wars Holiday Special is saved!

On a more serious note, the Black Mage's grand finale of Dancing Mad is also saved.

"As we said nearly two years ago, the team is now focused on tackling the tough challenge of video search."

I'm looking forward to seeing what your team will end up with in regards to this!

I have a GV and a YT account, but the migrate option button does not appear for me.

Once it does I hope YT will accept videos from GV longer than 15 min, otherwise I dont see the point.

It is great Google took this decision. But I think it is a scandal so much material will dissapear from the internet once GV dissapears. Many will not make the effort of migrating their material. If Google want to shut down GV the should simply merge it inte YT, automaticaly, keeping old links so linked and embedded material stay in place. The active decision from the user should be to refuse that this automtic merge, not the way around, this would make things easier and we would assure material does not appear unless the user specifically wants it to. I hope reponsible persons from Google reads thsi and takes my views into account. Thank you.

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! HAHA! GOOGLE IS BACK! HAHA! LONG LIVE THE GLORIOUS GOOGLE! HAHA! YES!

    OK, with that said; question:
    1. Like everyone's saying, can you do it for videos longer than 15 mins and not get them cut off?
    2. Google Video had a very different copyright policy, what will you do about taking down google video videos like that??

I have a video posted to Google Video several years ago. The video was set to private but the google account has since been closed and now the video is available via google video search as a public video. How can I prevent a video from being transferred to youtube, and allow it to be deleted when google video goes dark? thanks for your assistance.

What is going to be done with the videos that are too violent or do not meet the youtube guidelines?
