Good Job You Tube! I knew you could do it!

Any chance you can fix the view counters?

They seem to be stuck at really low numbers.

hmmm... I still remember how you "filtered" videos made by anti-scientology protesters (you even deleted Wise Beard Man youtube)

now you mark yourself as Open .... I am dubious.

This is the comment I posted in the help forums:

"Given the critical role these videos are playing in reporting this story to the world, we are doing our best to leave as many of them up as we can. YouTube is, at its core, a global forum for free expression."

I cannot begin to tell you how much bovine fecal matter this statement seems to portray. YouTube is removing videos because they don't actually watch them nor do they understand the impact of what is happening in Iran. While the removals may be due to someone filing a complaint. YouTube does not actually review the videos. They just simply take them down.

When history is reviewed YouTube will look the fool.

The way YouTube handles false flagging and DMCA issues tends to show that YouTube and it's extremely vague Community Guidelines are far from a positive element in free speech.

Then to say the users are taking down the videos, now that takes balls.

Your "Muslim" Obama betrayed Iranians by stopping Twitter from updating the platform (Guardian.co.uk).
It was playing a big role against this fascist regime.
This regime will kill most of the protesters and it will build the "Islamic Nuclear Bomb".
Then all of you Americans will realize how you lost your faithful local soldiers.
George W. Bush, we miss you at this time.

You're telling us that people are risking their lives to upload a video on here only to remove it themselves shortly thereafter?

Here's a URL for a torrent containing recent videos from the protests in Iran that Youtube has deleted: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4958654

What the hell are you saying ? Do you understand what you read over the net ?

"He" has not stopped Twitter from being updated, but presumably asked to delay a maintenance for it to be down in the iranian night rather than in the middle of the day, allowing iranians to continue to express themselves on Twitter.

Do you understand how documenting the graphic violence of a dictatorship brutalizing those who speak against it IS the most important reason a "global forum for free expression" is useful? If you can't allow the most brutal of these videos, you are not a "global forum for free expression".

Re adbops comment : I must disagree. The fact that any website is broadcasting this footage is good news because Ahmadinejad, much like the chinese government on the anniversary of Tiananmen square, IS censoring media coverage inside Tehran. These videos are giving us a Tehranian's perspective on the violence and protests occurring within the city. I say thank you Youtube, and keep them coming

Big thanks to YouTube for making this possible and supporting the movement in such a way. Although it is one great way to promote the plattform it is highly important to give people in such suppressed countries like Iran, China, North Korea and so on the possibility to share the recent incidents with the world. Take away censorship and the regime will fall in a matter of time. Fight for democracy and the best of luck to the iranian people.

We appreciate your support Iran protests coverage but it's few days I see this error for every video which is shared:
"Sorry for the interruption. We have been receiving a large volume of requests from your network. To continue with your YouTube experience, please enter the verification code below."
The point is if you type the verification code hundred times you'll get same message. Please expand your bandwith for Iran and remove such boundaries to support us more. Youtube is already blocked in Iran and we open it via FreeGate software. So don't make it harder than this. Twitter also has changed it's policies in order to help us share ourselves with the world at these essential moments. I'm sure our people and the world will never forget your support from freedom and democracy. Thanks alot.

“A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.” Mao Zedong
So to all green movement advocates you can use a million Youtube's a million twitters, and you will never win. As we haven not yet unleashed our Revolutionary Guards on you to obliterate you and your supporters to oblivion. Long live the true Iranian Revolution 1979.

Yesterday, the Democrats.org blog featured an excerpt from a story we received from Kristine Reger, a life-long Wisconsinite and mother of three who attended President Obama’s Health Care Town Hall in Green Bay. Today, we asked Kristine to write a guest post to share her full story:
Hi everyone. I submitted my health care story to Organizing for America online, and they’ve asked me to write a guest blog about my experience. Here's what I can tell you:
Though I'm a lifelong Democrat, my husband and I raised our three kids in a mostly Republican suburb. For years and years, I kind of rolled over and skirted political conversations with my friends and neighbors. I didn’t want to engage in debate.
Then last fall, after more than 20 years, I finally decided to have the courage of my convictions. Barack Obama inspired me to get involved. I wasn’t happy with the direction of our country and I thought to myself: enough is enough. I spent lots of time researching the issues and learning about then-Senator Obama’s positions. Eventually, I figured out that I could make a real difference in my own network of family and friends by reaching out to people through email and responding to all the emails going around that I knew weren’t true. You know what I learned? My friends are still my friends. People have started coming to me to understand what’s going on; they rely on me to tell them the truth.

Twilight, a fantasy romance involving a self-loathing vampire and his sweet-blooded soul mate, is the kind of movie that gets pop culture addicts excited. Surrender to its daftness and you’ll emerge covered in something very like a cold sweat. watch twilight eclipse online

The film, which arrives in theaters October 1, is an account of the early days of
Facebook (Facebook), chronicling its foundation and rise to prominence. While the
other teasers for the film have centered around the larger idea of Facebook and what
it represents, this spot is all about the central figure of the film — Facebook’s
co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. watch the social network online
